Glen Creek Bridge at The Glen, NY

This photo is from 1918 and shows the old route 28 bridge behind it.  Originally there was a wood Howe truss here built in c.1870 and rebuilt with the same in 1885.  The bridge and abutments were replaced with the ones in this photo in 1891.

The bridge is 91" high x 96" wide x 75' long
Painted two coats Dupont Bridge Black Paint, September 1944.
The build plate has been stolen but it's marked "American Bridge Co" and was built in 1943 using the 1891 abutments.
