1865 Corinth Station & Freight House The first Corinth station was built in 1865 as a combination freight and passenger station. A two story addition was built on the south end for $600 in 1891 and when the new station was built in 1911, this building was used for a freight office. In 1931 the two story section was removed and the freight office was moved to the newer station. When a third track was added in 1938, the remaining freight building was moved back and a little north where it stood until removal some time after 1984. c.1895 c.1900 1918 1928 1974 1984 - This decrepid little building is actually the original 1865 station. |
